Table tennis spans school clubs, community centres, and elite pathways. Locally, most participative listings parents chase are LCSD district age-group competitions plus occasional citywide opens or challenge events published with register links. Separately, world tours such as WTT finals may appear on general sports calendars when Hong Kong hosts them—those are major spectator and broadcast moments, not something Sportverse sells tickets for or treats as grassroots entry.

District cards follow the same pattern as badminton and tennis: bilingual titles, date ranges, optional deadlines, SmartPLAY links when LCSD is organizer. Age groups and district names must match the official programme. Table tennis draws can be small and fast—deadlines may close well before the first match day. When organizers publish opens—sometimes described as citywide singles challenges—the register URL may point to LCSD, an association, or an event bureau. Titles may include “待定” when dates were provisional at ingest time; always refresh on the official page before planning travel. We do not copy ITTF equipment regulations or rubber inspection rules; equipment compliance stays on the organizer PDF.

Association calendars may include league rounds that differ from DAGC naming. If both LCSD and HKTTA events are open simultaneously, compare deadlines on the live list with the table-tennis filter rather than searching each site manually.

A row mentioning WTT or other international tours is a reminder that elite sport is in town, not an offer to enter the pro draw through Sportverse. Ticket sales, broadcast rights, and hospitality packages belong to the promoter’s channels. Local juniors should still look for district or association rows with register buttons aimed at Hong Kong residents. We do not imply partnership with WTT or ITTF.

School inter-school fixtures often circulate on education networks and may never appear here. Our ingest focuses on organizer pages that publish public enrolment URLs similar to other racket sports on the site. If your child’s coach mentions a “school-only” event, assume it is outside this calendar unless you later see it on an official open list with a register link.

Sportverse does not validate blade specs.
