About this competitions list /

Sportverse is a Hong Kong racket-sports project focused on helping players discover classes and book court time, starting with squash. The main site is where coaches and venues live; this subdomain is something different on purpose.

What this site is / 本站的定位

Competitions at competitions.sportverse.com.hk is a public calendar of open competitions. It is not a shopping cart for classes, not a court booking flow, and not an official tournament entry system for LCSD or any association.

Where the data comes from / 資料從何而來

We regularly fetch competition names, date ranges, entry deadlines where published, and register links from organizer websites—Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) SmartPLAY listings, Hong Kong Squash, Hong Kong Tennis Association (HKTA), and other sources named on each event card. The goal is one readable list so parents and players do not have to check four different sites every week.

What we do not do / 我們不做的事

We do not take entries, collect entry fees, hold draw places, or confirm that you are registered. When you tap Register on a card, you leave this site and complete enrolment on the organizer’s system. We also do not guarantee that a slot is still available—that is always decided on the official page.

Open vs closed on the list /

Closed events are hidden by default so the homepage stays usable. That filter reflects our display rules (deadlines and end dates in Hong Kong time), not a live “registration status” API from organizers. See the open vs closed guide for detail.
