Badminton competitions in Hong Kong / 香港羽毛球比賽

Badminton remains one of the busiest racket sports for families in Hong Kong: school teams, club coaching, and district programmes all compete for weekend court time. Public competition listings split roughly between LCSD district age-group events—similar to tennis and table tennis—and opens run by associations or event companies. Sportverse ingests open entries from official pages so you can see deadlines in one place, then complete registration on the host site linked from each card.

羽毛球是香港最繁忙的球類項目之一：校隊、球會及分區計劃爭奪周末場地。公開賽事大致分為康文署分區分齡賽（與網球、乒乓球類似）及協會或機構舉辦的公開賽。Sportverse 從官方頁擷取仍接受報名的項目，集中顯示截止日，再經卡片連結到主辦方完成報名。

LCSD district badminton / 康文署分區羽毛球

District rows name the area—Wanchai, Sai Kung, North District, and others—and usually point to SmartPLAY when LCSD is the organizer. Players enter the published district and age group; eligibility and draw format live in LCSD PDFs. We do not copy Hong Kong Badminton Association (HKBA) regulations or internal grading rules into this guide. If HKBA or another body is shown on the card instead of LCSD, switch mental models: follow that organizer’s register link.

分區賽標題會標示灣仔、西貢、北區等，主辦為康文署時報名多經 SmartPLAY。須報名通告的分區及組別；資格及賽制見康文署 PDF。本頁不複製香港羽毛球總會規章或內部分級。若卡片主辦為 HKBA 或其他機構，請改跟該主辦的報名連結。

Association and open events / 協會及公開賽

Opens may appear when associations publish entry windows with public URLs. Titles can describe age bands, doubles categories, or charity fixtures. Fees, partner requirements, and shuttle standards are always on the official notice. Our list intentionally avoids pasting fee tables or prize money that change year to year—open the register destination for the current numbers.

協會公布報名期及公開網址時，公開賽會出現在列表。標題可能註明年齡、雙打組別或慈善賽。費用、搭檔要求及用球標準均在官方通告。我們不貼會變動的收費或獎金表——請在報名頁查最新數字。

Weekend scheduling patterns / 周末賽程（觀察）

Many district badminton listings in public calendars cluster on Sundays because school halls and LCSD venues batch knockout rounds on rest days. That is an observation of how dates often look on notices, not a rule Sportverse enforces or organizers guarantee. Always read the date line on the card—it may show a single Sunday or a string of Sundays—and confirm whether each day requires attendance or only finals day matters.

公開日曆上，分區羽毛球日期常集中在周日，因學校禮堂及康文署場館多在休息日排賽。這只是常見現象，並非本站或主辦方硬性規定。請細看卡片日期——可能单日或連續多个周日——並確認是否每日必須出席或只需決賽日。

Parents checking district and age / 家長核對分區與年齡

Before paying, match three strings: child’s age group, district name, and deadline. Children who train across districts still must meet LCSD eligibility on the PDF. If two similar titles appear—say North District U13 singles and North District U13 doubles—they are separate programmes with separate enrolment. Filter badminton on the homepage to hide other sports while comparing.

付款前核對三項：子女組別、分區名稱、截止日。跨區練球仍須符合康文署 PDF 資格。兩個相似標題（如北區 U13 單打與双打）可能是不同項目、分開報名。在首頁篩選羽毛球以便比較。

Register off-site / 離站報名

Sportverse never collects entry fees for badminton. Tap Register on the card to reach SmartPLAY, an association form, or a third-party event page. Keep confirmation emails from those systems. If our deadline or district spelling disagrees with the official page, email coach@sportverse.com.hk with the event name and source URL.

Doubles and mixed entries / 雙打及混雙

Many badminton programmes require a named partner at enrolment or allow placeholder slots that must be filled before the draw. Partner rules vary by organizer; Sportverse cards do not store partner names or team status. Complete those fields only on SmartPLAY or the association form. If your partner withdraws, follow the organizer’s substitution policy— we cannot amend entries from coach@sportverse.com.hk.

不少羽毛球項目報名時須填搭檔姓名，或先留空位再於抽籤前補上。搭檔規定因主辦而異；卡片不儲存搭檔或隊伍狀態。請只在 SmartPLAY 或協會表格填寫。若搭檔退出，依主辦替補政策處理——我們無法經電郵修改報名紀錄。
